This is a fiberglass hotliner/warmliner glider from HobbyKing called “Reverb”. I Usually design and build my airplanes myself, but after almost 10 years if RC flying I got my first ARF.
The entire airframe is made out of glass fibre, it is very lightweight yet strong. The airplane’s total weight is about 900 grams and a large part of that is the motor and the battery. It has a wingspan of 1350 mm. I use the following setup:
- Motor: Turningy 480L V-Spec Inrunner 1370kv
- ESC: Turningy Plush 40A
- Wing servos: Turningy TGY-777MG
- Elevator servo: HobbyKing HK939MG
- Propeller: 10 inch folding propeller with carbon fibre blades
- Spinner: 35mm aluminum
- Battery: 2200mAh 3 cell LiPo
