Mini Acro Quadcopter

900_DSC_3417

This is a lightweight quadcopter I built using four of the old motors and the ESCs from the hexacopter. The reason I built this quad is because I wanted something fun to fly around with and do some flips. This quad was built in three days using foam poster board for the box in the the center housing the electronics, and black painted wooden “fire starting sticks” from a local hardware store here in Sweden called Biltema.

Setup:

  • DT750 motors
  • 10×4.6 carbon fiber propellers
  • 18A Turningy Multistar ESCs
  • 3 cell 2650mAh LiPo battery
  • KK2.1 flight controller with V1.9 firmware
