I made a new video of the autogyro since all the other videos of it where old and low quality. The autogyro is almost 4 years old now, and I do not fly it very often, but it still works great. It is probably one of the most unique designs I have made.
A collection of parts to use in SketchUp
When I want to make something I usually start drawing in SketchUp. Often the things I draw never becomes reality for different reasons, but some do. I have tried more advanced CAD programs like AutoCAD or Inventor, but i always falls back to SketchUp. It is a great tool for creating fast prototypes and testing ideas. SketchUp is special compared to other programs in the way that it only has a very limited set of tools. This makes it fast and easy to learn and work with. This also makes it hard to do some complex parts, but usualy, it is not a problem. There is also an “3D warehouse” where users can upload models. It is also possible to download other’s models into your own model. This is great when you want to add some common part to your project, like an Arduino for example. Why draw it again when others have already done it?
When I make my 3D models I save all general parts i think that I will have a use for in the future in a separate file to make them easy to copy. This file contains robotics parts, electronics parts, displays, motors, and some multirotor and Airplane stuff. Most of the things I have made myself but some I have downloaded from the “3D warehouse” and modified in some way.
The file is available for download here: SketchUpParts.zip (8MB)
Low Flybys with FT Spitfire
Doing some low altitude flybys with my FT Spitfire at my local flying club Gamen.
The mini acro quad
This is a small quad I built using the motors that was lying around after the hexacopter project. I wanted a small maneuverable quadcopter to do flips and just fly around with. This one is not designed to carry any cameras, and it is made to be durable and easy to repair.
more info and images of this quadcopter here.
APM quadcopter arial video
This is a compilation of some arial video I have recorded using my APM quadcopter at my local flying club Gamen mfk. Some parts of the video is FPV flying and some parts visual flying. Most of the time I fly in loiter or stabilize mode. Read about my APM quadcopter here.
Reverb video
A video of my HobbyKing Reverb full composite glider, shot using GoPro and headmount. Read more about the airplane here.
APM quadcopter
This is my latest multirotor, the APM quad. Equipped with the Ardupilot, it is full of features. Its also lighter, more reliable, and more efficient than the hexacopter.

Hexacopter
This was my APM-powerd hexacopter. Unfortunately this configuration turned out to be problematic. It is now retired, but I did learn a lot of things from it.

Dragon Simulator
A 3D graphis demo I made together with two other students at the university.

New Website
Welcome to my new website!
I coded the old site myself, it worked well but it was a lot of work when I wanted to make updates or add new pages. This site is based on WordPress. This makes it easier to create new content and hopefully this will result in me updating this site more often. The design on this site is based on a standard WordPress template. Maybe it does not look as good as the old site, but I think functionality is more important. I can change the design, and maybe I will take the time to do that later.
You can find all the content form the old site using the menu on the top. The email form on the “About” page should hopefully work better. This new site also works as a blog, allowing me to share stuff without writing a “Page” about it. It is also possible for visitors to comment posts and pages.
